Where do i check to see if im getting power to my distributor? My car is turning over but im not getting a spark. I just converted to obd-1 from obd-0 and i checked all the wiring at the dizzy and continuity tested them to the right locations at the ecu. I also have a MSD box and a external coil (hooked up per msd's instructions). any feedback would be great! Thanks

Stick a screw driver in the end of one of the spark plug boots, and hold it about a half inch away from a piece of metal, have someone turn over the car, if u see spark jumping from the screw driver to the piece of metal, you got spark,

If not then, obviously no spark

Which Means Your igniter could be bad, in that case itll cost as much money for an igniter as it would for a new distributor (Btw the igniter is inside the distributor)

And im saying all that as if the MSD is hooked up right

take the distributor cap off take the rotor off and the cover..there are three wires going onto a little black black box...make sure the blue black wire on the far end is hot..then make sure the middle prong is hot..then at the top youll see the coil..there will be a positive and a negative make sure they are doing what they are supposed to, there are also two white wires that have to go in the right places they are easy to mess up..i just did a obo obd1 conversion also pm me if you need help
