i have replaced the front main on my ls 4 times.. i replaced the ls oil pump with a used gsr oil pump and ever since i cant keep a front main in the motor, they keep pushing themselves out and getting torn on the timing belt washer. does any one know what could be causing this? could tha oil pump be bad? and some how be vibrating the seal out? it has been installed properly ever time, but after a day or so of driving it begins pushing itself out. also i noticed that the pcv was clogged but it never pushed the oem seal out of the stock ls pump.
