I need help......i bought an F20A dohc engine......the guy who i bought it from says that everything from the h23 will go on bolt-on...direct fit......i need confirmations that of what he says is true.....

 

A f20a out of a JDm 90-93 Accord Si? What year prelude do you have?

The F20 is a 2.0L and the H23 is a 2.3L. I doubt they are the same in anyway, but I could be wrong.

 

i order the engine from a distributor....i've read n also heard that all the f20A sohc, dohc, f22b sohc n dohc h22....n h23 have same tranny...or 1 will bolt-on to all of them....w/o modifications......and the F20A and f22b are basically the same except of the CC...being 2.oL n 2.2L....tranny should still fit....everything from h23 should transfer w/ direct fit onto f22b n f20a dohc.....correct me if i'm wrong.....i'm not 100% sure..and that is why i'm out here asking.....i've already bought the engine......but i bought because the guy says it'll fit...direct bolt-on w/o modifications.......

 

i forgot..i have a 94 prelude...and yes...the f22b and f20a are both jdm engine....not used in the US......i believe it is being use in the Accord.....forgot what year accord though......

Next time you buy an engine don't rely on what the seller is telling you. Do some research, be sure and don't just buy something because someone tells you something good about it.
I'm sure the tranny fits the F22, H23, and H22's the F20 most likely..
