i had a hid kit on mine and i found it easiest to loosen the head light bracket on the bottom and side. that helps make it a lil more moveable.

Its really hard to get a bulb in cause its such a tight squeeze. The easiest way is to remove the front bumper and headlights all together.

What? Thats crazy! I can do both sides in about 5 mins. On the drivers side, the washer bottle tube slides up an over, and on the pass side, the power steeing fluid bottle moves out of the way, then you have more room.

removing bumper and headlight is mostly if you want hid's..cuz you need a place to put the ballast somewhere, and the only place is in the bumper place.

You can change the lightbulbs for the front headlights without taking off any part of the front bumper cover or the battery. Just mash your hand in

what kind of bulbs would be better in terms of lighting than stock that are not HID, only direct replacement?

DO NOT use sylvania silverstar bulbs!!!!!

I found out the hard way. I bought a pair, put them in, and a few months down, one blew out. Figured it was a bad batch or something, got a replacement, not a week later that one blew out. I luckily bought it at wal-mart, so they gave me a replacement. Then the other side blew out, followed a few weeks later by the newly replaced one.

I had wasted so much money, I just bought the cheap ones. They've been going strong for almost a year.

After this whole ordeal, I talked to a friend who has an RSX & he said he had the same thing hapen to him. He asked the dealership and they said that RSX lights run a little more wattage through the bulbs to get more light, and for some reason the silverstar bubls can't take it.

If anyone else has tried a set of higer-end 'super white' bulbs that have worked well, please share. I liked how the silverstars looked, but they don't last for **** in our RSX's!
