Yea so i failed smog yesterday all i could think of is tune up and a new cat ?

If somebody posts which exhaust will give 'em the best sound, it'll be 8 pages long with 40 pictures, and 10 sound clips. Simple guy like this needs help passing the rape exam in CA and nobody's around.

You NOx is high. If the car had been warmed up properly, you're probably going to need a cat.

That's cause this so-called "tech board" is really a hang-out for 20 year old kids who are more concerned with "diss-ing" or "owning" a n00b and fawning over their bolt-ons rather than actually passing on knowledge. The funny part is that they rely on all the **** pasted up in their signatures to try convince us that they have some sort of credibility. All style - no substance.
Anyways, my experience with failed smog or emmissions tests is really limited to carbureted vehicles. Definitely do the tune-up first especially if you haven't done one in a while anyways. Make sure you include the PCV as part of it. It's hard to get to so maybe no one has done it recently. Also look for other simple things like make sure the oil filler cap is on tight and the dip stick is in good and has a good o-ring so it seals properly.
Any CELs? A bad O2 sensor could mess up your test but usually it'll throw a CEL. Make sure both O2 sensors are installed properly in your header with no leaks.
Also, clogged injectors could be a problem. You could go the cheap route and run some Seafoam or Techron through the fuel system. I send my injectors out for a cleaning and efficiency test for $50 to this guy (who does a great job): http://cruzinperformance.com/fuelinj.html
I don't really think it's your cat, you would propbably be throwing a CEL from the secondary O2 sensor (assuming your ODBII). Please specifically post your vehicle's year and model (some D-series are ODBI).

but yea we changed my oil about a week ago i'ma check my cat out, would my DC Header make it harder on me you think too ??

Was the car sitting before you went on the rollers? It looks like your cat wasnt warm enough . But if you cant remember when the last tuneup was then i suggest doing it.

It sounds like you're running rich and that you're not getting a complete burn in your cylinders.
Suggestions:
-Fuel injector cleaning
-New spark plugs, plug wires
-Your o2 sensor isn't reading correctly
-dizzy could be going out
-Your cat isn't functioning anymore
-timing could be off, causing you to run rich
-Your engine is no longer efficient and requires a rebuild
I seriously doubt a cat is all it's gonna take to get rid of those insanely high numbers BUT it should decrease the CO and NO emissions. The hydrocarbons being high means you have unburned fuel in the air. When a hydrocarbon burns, it should produce only CO2 and H2O, and some other trace gasses in the case of gasoline.
I'd start with the tuneup, and the cat, just because it's something that you should be doing anyways on a 180k car.

Ok got some work done to my car ! but im still afraid kinda to take it to smog (don't want to fail again) hmm also when i took it that time i just had my stock intake in, it didnt have resonator and the other tubing connected, would that have had any effect on the number also you think ??

I got flamed bc i was trying to solve a guy's situation and everyone was against me yet i was the one helping him out. Then it turns out i was right and the so called "mechanics who have been working on cars for 8 yrs and racing" were wrong...
anyways...as others suggested your timing is off so i would start by checking the timing first which is fairly easy. There are many threads concerning timing so the search button helps in this case.
2nd. A good and complete tune-up helps before going to get your car inspected.
3rd. do you have a cat-back exhaust?if so, then u dont need the resonator to pass smog
