B20B NEED HELP FINDING TRANSMISSION SUITABLE FOR DAILY DRIVER
i have a B20B in my 95 coupe i bought it this way from a asain dude.. and he told me its a jdm integra cable transmission... im thinking its from the late integra B18's but unsure about it, and neither was he....
now the problem is in fifth gear at 100km/h im JUST under 4000rpm
what i wanna know is the possible b-series transmissions that are out there and there gear ratios...
anybody from experience or hearsay know what transmission (CABLE or HYDRO) would be best for still having a fun gear ratio, but at the same time idle lower on the highway....id preffer the best for both before i decide to do the hydraulic conversion
im lookin for more like 150km/h and under 4000rpm
ANY help would be greatly appreciated, i did search the forums and came up with nothin
the reason im posting this hear incase you were wondering..... im on the search for a jdm B20z motor for my 90 crx... im very satisfied with the torque fun in my eg coupe.. but want to do the b20 vtec conversion to my rex... and the b20's and ls/vtec and frankenstein engines are all a learning progress for me when its comes to piecing blocks, heads, and transmissions together, as well as internals and air-fuel-exhaust components
hope to hear some input
