Default New Rims on a G3?

What kind of rims do you like on a G3 Teg? (please post pictures or web sites, model #'s)

I need to replace my Volk Racing AV3's that looked like this (new)
http://store5.yimg.com/I/supra_1681_14755943
They are bent (bad) and need polished five years old... Not worth fixing.

They are on my 97 Teg that I don't expect my Teg to last another five year when I purchased the AV3's and wanted the best rims and thought I needed the best. I have a motorcycle now that I get my thrills for speed and perfomance on the bike.

I now am considering a knock off verion (don't need the best any more). The Konig Monsoon's that look like this.

The price of four of them is cheaper then one AV3. Does anyone have a set of these and what is the best price I can get a set or a set you like for the best price?

I like this rim .. BUT can't find a knock off like it.

Does anyone know if anyone makes one like that one? (that >one< rim cost $$$$)

Bro, I love yaz... but~

go lighter or keep the ones you have! if you lighten the unsprung weight,
you will have more traction, break out less, brake faster, accelerate better
and hold a tighter G wrapped with Z rated rubber. tires are most important,
dont waste your money on rims bro. some TE-37s are awesome, 11lbs for
16x7 when stock is 16.5 and you can wrap them in some nice rubber like
advans or RE730s for $100 ea. They are $450 rims, I have seen packages on
MODACAR.com... LE37-Ts are TIGHT also, same weight, more color offerings
and a polished lip... also FUNCTIONAL but @ $2250 for a set with 215/45/16 Paradas:

keep in mind that your shocks and springs become more efficient when you reduce the weight at all four corners Whats more important to you? DO YOU
LIKE THE HOLY GGGGs?!!!!
style is nice, but it dont make for **** when you are behind the wheel
powering out of a corner. its so nice when you get the susp to the point where
you can take your existing TQ and lose no RPM in a 70mph corner and
acclerate out in the same RPM strong. until you have felt that... keep looking at rims. if you want that, buy a comptech rear swaybar and some nice tires on stock rims, koni yellows and some 330/130-190 springs!! You would be well within budget.

Comptech Springs: 1.5" drop $160
335-330 static front/ 135>195-130-190 progressive rear
3way 22mm Rear Sway/Tie bar: got mine second hand unused for $250 (lucky)
Koni Yellow Shocks: Adjustable perches: front: 3/4" up or down rear: 1/2" up or dn
dampening is better than stock ITR, feel is awesome, rebound is widely adjustable.
$450-500 for a set
Potenza RE730s $420 for 4 w/shippin 205/50/ZR15 from tirerack.com they rock!!

approx. $1500 bucks unless you can do it all yourself.

add comptech springs and drop konis another .50" in front, .25" in rear. dial the rebound in front to 35/25deg and 75/70 deg in rear. run the second click in the rear swaybar with stock swaybar up front. run your tires hot and set the pressures up like this: 28.5/28 front, 29.5/29.5 rear. your neg camber in the front should run 1.4-1.6 and you should get your alignment toe settings set up with you in the car.
Camber correction is not necessary under -1.5!! This is the max ITR in-spec.
I have mine at -.08 deg in the front and +.25 in the rear. I wanted more - in the front, but it wears the inside faster than camber so I adjusted. I set the tire pressures there to balance the inner tire wear and get more contact patch with the neg camber. Also, the grip is nice off the line and it bites in the corners. The tires have GREAT sidewalls. If you do this you will be able to slolam the white lines at 80 in 4th.

LAta! Just tryin to help a G3 brodda out...
