Currently, I have Falken Ziexs on my 93 accord coupe in a 195/60/15. I haven't been impressed with the wear because I've only had them for 11,000 miles and they're down to 3/32". They have worn evenly but too quick. I usually get camber wear on the inside edges but these have not worn on the inside more than the rest. I live in Virginia where it usually snows a few times in the winter. Before I got the Ziexs, I had some Michelin mxv4s that I bought used (from from a ep3) and they handled better than the ziexs and lasted me almost 40,000 miles. I need an all season tire that has a stiffer sidewall than the ziexs but also will stick to the road. I have an H22 in my accord and would like to have a sticky tire but it's my daily driver. Buying winter tires AND summer tires are out of the question for my budget so please don't suggest it. I'm looking to spend around $75 each for the tires. Let me know your opinions.

Oh, I'd like to go to a 205/55/15 or maybe even 205/50/15.

 

those two tires that you are thinking about are way to short for your car and does not meet the proper load index for your car...kumho makes the asx in your stock size that will give you some grip and good all season traction at the same time....
that would be my suggestion for you....195/60r15 24.21.....205/55r15 overall diameter is 23.88 and 205/50r15 is a 23.07 diameter.... will be quite shorter and throw your speedo off quite a bit
