Best way to Remove Oil stains off Engine ?
Ive noticed when i look under the hood, and Lay down on the ground, and look up around the Oil pan, and the tranny, there are alot of Oil Deposits, and hanging oil..
What would i used to clean that off?
I tryed to pressure wash it off, but, that doesnt do anything, the water just ***** up, and makes nasty stains on the driveway..
Anyone ?

Use any of the products mentioned above. Simple Green works really well and it's environmentally friendly.
Hook your pressure washer up to the hot water outlet for your washing machine. Then, if possible, turn up the thermostat for your hot water heater to 180 degrees.
Steam it clean while wearing safety googles.

Funny this thread came up. Two weeks ago an external oil cooler line blew in my car at the back of the block and spewed all 5 quarts of oil ALL OVER the engine bay. It even came out the front of the hood!!
I just keep pouring simple green where I can pour it and spraying with a spray bottle every where else and wiping it down.
Try to saturate whatever your working on so the oil will run to the bottom of the motor, wipe from top to bottom.
I've had to repeat this a few times, cause like I said oil was everywhere. I've spent about 4-5 hours cleaning it. It's almost done, the conduit around the wiring is a bitch cause of its ridges, oil likes to stay in them........

i use some of the "goop" hand cleaner. put some on the tips of your fingers and rub (hehehe). works very well with oil. then some full strength simple green, sit for a few munites, hit it w/ a rag. pow! clean.
