Default Ground Control going on today

I'm installing GC coilovers with AGX struts tonight. I know there are some issues in regards to installing them in an SH, something to do with the ball joints. If you have experience doing this I would appreciate any advice and/or tips that will help this go smoothly.

Thanks,
Tom

its really easy, on the rear just unbolt the upper control arm. There are two bolts to the left and right of the upper shock mounts (this is inside the trunk) loosen those and pull down to free the upper arm and that way you won't have to mess with the ball joint and risk tearing the boot. just have a friend there to hold it if and when it drops outta the holes.

I know you don't need to mess with the ball joint when doing the the rears (sounds dirty), but I what about the fronts?

If the balljoints are the same as those in the rear, then I wouldn't worry about them. Assuming they're the same (IDK, I don't have an SH), get a pittman arm puller to pull the joint apart without damaging the rubber boots. You'll need new cotter pins when you reinstall your dampers.

I've had them on since Friday night. I had to adjust them up once so far, and I'll be bumping them up more in the near future. I have a stripped lug nut up front that I need to replace, which is keeping me from doing much up front. I also have a ton of clunking coming from the rear passenger side that I need to take closer look at tonight. In terms of appearance it looks fvckin awesome, I had it tucked all around for about a day and a half, but my back was not about to put up with that **** ( Minnesota roads are busted up). I plan to raise it up for winter duty in the next couple of weeks. In regard to ride and handling, it rides nice, but you certainly realize that you have less travel to work with, and it carves corners with abandon, but like I mentioned above I'm basically short a lug up front so the hard driving has been seriously limited. If you have any other questions let me know.
