Default Need Help....Car Dead

I'm kind of new to the car scene so I need some help here. My gf's 89 civic dx hb died and I can't figure what the hell is wrong with it. I checked the starter, alternator, spark plugs, batteries, and all the belts but they are all fine and still work. Is there anything else I should be looking for?

Okay I'll check that next, but if it isn't that than is there anything else that it could be?

Could be a number of things.

Timing belt broke. (look through oil filler cap hole for cam turning while cranking, or pull off the distributor cap and look for rotor turning)

Ignitor/ignition module died. (look for spark while cranking)

Main relay failed. (listen for fuel pump priming for 2 seconds when the key is first turned to 'run' position)

Ignition switch (kind of self explanitory)

Out of gas?
