I was involved in an accident and I'm waiting for the body shop to give me an estimate. In the meantime, does anybody know any good websites or shops that carry the JDM metal front end? I'm seriously considering going JDM. Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure there's been a couple of similar threads in the past about people going with the JDM front after an accident. If you search I'm sure you'll find them. I can't say for sure what they ended up doing, but I think most just got the check straight from insurance so they could basically do what they pleased with it. That could also depend on your insurance I guess too.

 

basically, if the accident rules in your favor, meaning you're not at fault, then you can request for the insurance company to cut a check out for you. they might tell you to go to one of their "preferred" body shops to get the estimate if that's the case, but just tell them you've been working with a body shop that you want to do the repairs for you. and when you get that check, you can put it towards your JDM front end, or blow it on other goodies.
