my car has yet again failed to start because its a piece of **** with four entry points on four wheels. i know its the main relay but i dont know where the main relay is. there are a few relays in the area im told is the main relay. ive destroyed part of my dash to get to one relay that was fastened up by the air duct. theres also another one that is lower than that. does anyone have any pictures of the actual relay location for me? or does anyone want to destroy my car for me I HATE IT SO MUCH!

It's right near the hood-release lever.

 

calm down and dont beat your car up. your just like my friend and will end up with a crx with kicked in fender and quarter panels and alot to regret. now it is a very easy to find part. i will admit it is a little harder to get out then the fuse box but you can do it. i will search for apic since you obviously havent done that yet.

what makes you think it's the main relay?

 

great pic i've look at other and just can't figure where it is but i think i can now.

 

you are in KOP? If you need help hit me up I will come give you a hand...do you have another relay to swap in or are you going to soldier it? I think i have a spare or 2 from my CRX but i don't know if they are the same for all EFs...pm me your number and I can try and give you a hand tonight or over the weekend

im well past kicking in the fender. thats what fenders are for, kicking in when you get pissed.

whenever its hot it doesnt start, with the exception of tonight. when it does start it starts just fine and runs fine. it will crank all day when i try to start it but never turn over. ive had alot of people tell me its the main relay and where it is but i was never sure which it was. the one i thought it was, with a few taps usually started up fine. this time in the cold of night it wouldnt start even with taps, eventually taps turned to slams and now i have many pieces of what used to be a relay.
