I bought my car with some enkei 16x7 rs6 rims. The previous owner painted them black and it is chipping everywhere and looks crappy. I want to know how to remove the paint without eating away the aluminum or having the wheel a discolored silver. I did a search and didnt really find a definitive answer. Would get them blasted work best? what kind of material blasting? about how much would it cost? or should I just use an aircraft stripper and hope it comes out ok?

Maybe if you use a specialized aggregate to blast with. Aluminium usually doesn't like sandblasting too much.
