i searched but had 3 results only....

ok..i have a 88 crx si and i wanna swap my dseries out for a mini me my friend has....i know if the valve cover says vtec and if the block is not the d16a6....and if the smog knows his honda then he can fail me for visual. BUT does the mini me pass the tailpipe testing? i'm pretty sure it will correct? i want the car to be able to at least pass the tailipipe...i don't wanna get caught and sent to ref....

BTW i live in the land of SMOG *****.....in CALI so yea...if someone can confirm that it can **** tailpipe i'm gonna go ahead and buy the motor....

and as far as swapping it i have 88 SI....i will need ECU, converision harness, and new distrubtor? o2 sensor wiring is different and the distrubutor is different rite? so basically those are what i need and to wrie up my vtec yea? would i need mounts, or naything? and its a direct drop in and if i use my axles i don't have to mess with anything else?
