95 GSR DB8, what is the best tire to use for 16" Rota Slipstream/C8? Help please..
I am buying some Rota this weekend and wonder what is the best size of tire to use for them? I am thinking 205/40/16 or 205/45/16. I wonder if I use 205 will it rub my fenders if I am planning to tuck the Rota? If so, should I use 195/50/16?
205/45r16 would be the proper size to use
205/40r16 would be too short in height and 195/50r16 would be to tall and would rub

almost all kumho's suck.
205/45/16 will not rub..
im was running that fine one my te37's 16"
now i have 215/45/16 no rubs and i got some tok blues/ h&r springs( my front wheels also tuck under the fenders.

not really they have some very nice race tire and the SPT is an awesome tire. You should read up a little then just give a useless opinion with out any facts. Also look at the TireRack test against the ES100 and other good tires!

just because you work at discount tire doesn't mean ****. As you can still give bad advice or bias advice.
Also have you tried the SPT's? Don't base yourself on the pass try them out. Also look at how many people are happy with them. I had the Kumho 711 and they were horrible tires but I got them really cheap. I use to be a pro Yokohama or Toyo but Kumho has step their game.
They have the best bang for the buck tire out and beat the ES100 in every test! Which use to be the best bang for the buck tire.
