Need help with my Sp manifold & alternator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well I just got an Sp ram horn turbo manifold and it fits great but the only problem is that it hit's my alternator I try different ways trying so the alternator doesn't hit but I can't, the only thing I can think of is that to get a custom bracket done to lower the the alternator down 1 inch, or try to run an smaller one has anybody tried to run a smaller alternator like from a civic?
I need help, here are some pics so you guys know what I'm talking about..

http://www.explicitspeedperformance.com has alternator mounts that position the alternator lower.
man..that mani is nice but they shouldve left more room for the alt....make sure you brace that turbo on there man...dont wanna crack that set of pipes
Looks like all you need is the lower H-series alt bracket that mounts where the AC compressor goes.

Yes, I have their D-series upper alt bracket and it should make quite a bit more room. I haven't installed it yet, but I have ordered my D-series alternator and everything looks good so far.
