Makes a common ground/negative for all your electrical components. A ground wire set gives you a better ground to your components. If you look at my pic it is the round disc with the blue wires running all over from the battery.
You can see the one on the valve cover, one for the block and the one to the chassis in the back. I also have one to the alt, the throttlebody, the tranny and to the headlight grounds
If you have anymore Q's just ask.
