Dont do it. By asking, we know right off the bat you dont have a built motor to handle these rev's, because you would know how to remove the limiter. You would also know your power drops off severly after redline on a stock motor.

Seriously...
1. It's not a simple process
2. Your motor will not like you for it, and not be able to handle it.
3. There is absolutely no positive effects, ESPECIALLY on the J30.

Not a good idea on the V6 IMHO as redline is set at a point where valve float will not occur. If you go above that you have a good chance of floating your valves and smaking one on a piston.....
