i tried to rewind the damn thing to see how many kilowats of power it said it had. I thought it was 158 kilowatts. I converted it to horsepower.

158 kilowatts = 211 horsepower

 

Thats pretty damn interesting actually. Too bad its in a minivan =P

 

The 65:1 is just for the lean burn cycle. It isn't making much power at that ratio.

They are just some smart cookies over there at honda, and who is to say that ppl wont be swappin this motors onto Egs and Eks, soon eough

yeah i realize that, but its still cool that it can be economical and produce good power too.. Just like the older models but a step ahead.

Did it use regular gasoline?

Direct injection engines are designed for gasoline. The new Mazda CX-7 has a direct injection engine.
