That was pretty cool.

It takes a different kind of fuel though, huh?

i tried to rewind the damn thing to see how many kilowats of power it said it had. I thought it was 158 kilowatts. I converted it to horsepower.

158 kilowatts = 211 horsepower

The 65:1 is just for the lean burn cycle. It isn't making much power at that ratio.

yeah i realize that, but its still cool that it can be economical and produce good power too.. Just like the older models but a step ahead.

Did it use regular gasoline?

Direct injection engines are designed for gasoline. The new Mazda CX-7 has a direct injection engine.
