washer fluid squirters on CARBON FIBER HOOD?
i just bought a new carbon fiber hood, sunny stylin...the edges are ROUGH its some wat nice...good lookin hood...but i need washer fluid squirters?? where can i put it on a 96 civic hatchback?? any ideas?
my 92 integra has them mounted underneath the hood by the windshield. you might be able to buy some off a 92 at a junkyard and make them work so you don't have holes in your hood. I haven't tried it but its an idea-

It's not so bad--I'll be doing my hoodpins this weekend if time permits.

Screw it, take it all off, the whole wiper/washer system, its more weight.
I have mine off for almost 3 years, never had to used it.
If you any crap on your windshield., just pull over to a local gas station and wipe it off.
No biggie.
hahaha, Ive been doin the same thing for the last 5 months since I got a hood.
That and just spray rainex on everyonce and while, stuff just flies off it.

You can actually get squirters from a Chevy cavalier i forgot the part number, they mount onto the actual wiper arm. or you have to do is divert the tubing. I drilled holes onto my hood, before i found out about the calalier thing. I would have definitely opted for the wiper arm idea.

I just finished doing that, it works good! and i didnt have to drill any holes other than the bolts on the skeloton(to hold the jets, washer lines). I got everything from a 90 integra ls.
edit: damn i didnt realize this thread was so old... it helped anyways.
