Hey guys, my friend just bought a 2003 civic coupe. There is a light that keep coming on when he starts and drives the car. He says the light looks like a winshield with water going on it? I hope you guys can help. He just got the car a months ago. He also doesn't have the code for the radio as his battery died out because he left the lights on and has no radio. Honda doesn't want to help him out for it. He was quoted 75$ for the code.

Washer fluid is low. Fill it up, and voila, the light is gone.
And on the radio code, screw $75. Have him call around to different Honda and Acura dealerships until he finds one to help him out.
Either that or call Honda corporate customer service.

Ah. My manual only shows that that indicator light is used in Canada. Which is understandable, because you are from Montreal.
But anyways...
Is he sure the washer fluid resivoir is full?

Canadian market only, as stated in the Owners Manual.

The washer fluid mechanism is probably bad... personally...i would just open up the cluster and pull the bulb... if you dont have fluid.. nothing comes out. no need for a "light"
anyhow...
to remove your friends oem radio follow this

one he gets the serial number , post it up and perhaps someone who works at a honda ( don't know if US market can get Canadian codes ) but that is what the majority of the cost is from honda.
