Well, i'm finally going to go purchase my first "nice" car in the next couple weeks or so, i hope. I was originally looking at 02-04 RSXs, but recently, i've noticed that surprisingly, i can afford an 05 pretty easily. i know that they added 10 hp from the 02s to 05s, but is there any other differences? i cant decide which body i like better, but if im correct, there is a larger aftermarket support for the cosmetics on an 02-04. i kinda think the 02s look meaner, but the 05s have a classier look. and god how sexy do JDM headlights look on a white 02 :drool:

your experiences and suggestions are appreciated. pics of nice modded 05s would also be great, havent seen as many as the 02s-04s.

this is the RSX forum, its a specific RSX question, and i'm not looking for pics of RSXs, those are appreciated, but it was about the differences between the 2 models.

i am but a wee 18 years of age. but i know i can afford the payments, too bad i dont have credit so my down payments gonna be fatty as hell

 

well i just got my 06 S and i was in this dillema. although there are more stuff for the 02-04s i think that 05-06s just need a nice drop and they look clean, no lip kit needed. but thats just my opinion.

1. The front end looks a lot more aggressive. Therefore I like it, but with the correct front end mods to the 02-04, it can look just as badass as the 05-06.
2. The rear end on the 05's just sucks, Reminds me too much like a bb6 prelude.
3. The 05-06 Type S side skirts are FTW. I'm installing them on my 02
4. 05-06 Type S wheels again, FTW!!!!

So, if you wanna be really cool. Get the 05, but then do a rear end conversion. You'll have the best of both worlds.
