Default Upper a arm noise???

I asked in the integra forum and got virtually no help.

I installed omni upper a arms about 75mi ago, Just that last few days a creak has developed. I can push down on the fender with very little weight and hear it. When driving I dont hear it, untill I slow down and hit smaller bumps.

I am guessing it is the factory bushings. Do I need to lube them, tighten the bolts a bit more, loosen the bolts a little, remove the paint??

Does Omni use polyurethane bushings? If so, those will creak if not kept adequately lubricated. My Ingalls poly bushes drove me crazy with noise.

You have the black (or in my case red), A Arm, then you have the two other pieces the you bolt down to the arm and to the body. I think the bushing that goes into the arm is making the noise. I have no reason to believe it is the ball joint as it only have about 75mi on it and I checked to make sure there was greas on the ball and there was.

So this morning I too the olf trusty WD-40 and sprayed it all over the rubber bushing thing, and the creak stopped 100%.

Guess I will pull it out this weekend and lube the hell out of everything. I mught even stick a plastic washer in there so it is not rubber on paint contact.

you kinda need to have those bolts loose then tighten the bolts with the suspension loaded so take the wheel off and jack it up then tighten the bolts to those bushings.

then its not always preloaded and sqeaking.

thats what i did when i had the same problem on my lca

I have the same problem with my ingalls kit. I was told it may be the bump stops but I'm gonna get a better look tomorrow while it's on the lift. Funny how a majority of us have the same/similar problems with suspension.
