oil question
happy friday everyone!----anywho. just a quick follow up question for anyone. i have a 92 ex with 190,000 on it. i live in the western wa. area(weather is about from the low 30's to maybe, i mean maybe mid to high 80's). i usually use 10w-30 dino oil every 3 grand and have noticed that since the weather has warmed up i've been having some hard starts. any recommendations on if i should drop down to 5w-30 or synthetic or dino or what?? thanx
That's opposite of what supposed to happen if you're just looking at oil viscosity. It should be harder to crank in the colder weather because the oil is thicker. You shouldnt be using 10W oil in the winter anyway. Sounds like you need a tune up. Check out your distributor and plugs.
