h22 ek swap
I plan on dropping a 2000 h22 engine into a 96 civic.I want to switch to obd1 so what ecu, resistors, fuel injectors, wiring harness will I need to complete the swap. Also Is it safe to run the stock fuel maps on a 93-06 prelude vtec ecu?

use your stock harness and add what you need, your gonna need to get the obd 1 injectors and distributor. your best best and probaly cheapest would be an obd 1 gsr (38720-p72-a01) ecu..
will the stock harness reach everything (the plugs that are comaptible), or will I have to extend it?
Also, will I have to drop the tranny to get this motor in? (using a regular engine hoist... I don't have lift access to put the motor in from underneath)

You wont need injectors cause they are almost always the same on H22's OBD!+OBD2 and if not they will work if you change the plugs. H22 has like 220 cc and Gsr has like 170cc. Dont risk valves at high revs. Distributors should be different but they are easy to repin. I suggest since the injectors are different resistance useing the prelude resistor box. Ecu wise since the car is already 96 OBD2 to use prelude96 Ecu cause 97-98 has an immobiliser and 99-00 wont plug without repinning. You will eliminate 1 wire on the crank angle thats a ground.3 wire versus2.
