Ecu and check engine light?
If the car runs great, a/f is always right, and it is faster than before, but the check engine light is on, am I lossing power ? I guess the question is does the ecu pull timing and put a weaker fuel curve on, if the check engine light is on ? PM6... I used a TPS out of an accord, it goes from 0% trottle to 100% trottle on the Apexi controller, it seems to be the right TPS, and the car runs good...
If its running good, then just pull the bulb at back of your gauge cluster and worry no more...kidding aside, recheck all the sensor plugs. Although your running ok, a little loose connection can trip the check engine light. My guess is the O2 sensor.
Its the TPS code ( 7 ). The reson is that I'm using an accord TPS, but the TPS still goes from 0% throttle ( at idle ), to 100% at WOT ( I have an APEXI V-AFC that how I know the throttle % )... I'm trying to find a damn Civic TPS, but they seem to be pretty rare or something... There is a JG ported throttle body on ebay, but the guy is forgeting to say that it too, is missing the TPS... Anyone happen to have one to sell ??
