Default EF hatch makes a weird noise

When I close both of the doors I hear a clicking sound that doesn't stop. It sounds like the car is going to blow up or something What could it be?

About the clicking from where does it sound like its coming from? Body, motor tranny wheels or what?

It sounds like it is coming from the inside for sure around the dash area. BTW the car's power doesn't work at all. No lights.. No engine start.. No horn.. ETC. I have no idea what is wrong because the battery was recently changed.. Could it be that the car hasn't been used for over a month?

Thanks

Allright.. It has to be something with the electrical though because this car is all messed up.. The window wipers don't even work!

Some dumb that had the car before might of exchanged the engine harness with one from another year and model, which explains why it would do that since it is a possibilty. I personally think it might be your main relay, because when mine was going out it would make this rapid fast clicking sound, plus it's easy to get another one and replace also, just go to a junkyard and grab a couple so you have a new one and a extra, and the good thing about the main relay is THERE ALL THE SAME.

That explains that. From my knowledge this car just got a replacement engine which is a SOHC ZC with a 4 speed manual tranny. There are a couple wire hanging loose which I don't know where they go. Anyway I will see if I can replace the relay.

thanks

Hmm.. WD40 may work for making the mechanical parts smoother but I don't think it is such a good idea for the electrical problem
