Hate to say it, but you do NOT get more money for aftermarket parts. If anything, they subtract from the vehicle's cost, not add.

http://www.kbb.com if you want to know the Blue Book value.

kbb.com is a good estimator. All of the aftermarket parts will not add any value. Most buyers will look and a modified car and assume that it has been driven hard.

To get the most back out of it, you might want to go back to OEM and ebay all of the aftermarket stuff. Otherwise you give them away in the sale.

dang, i thought kbb was like 8-9k for my car, i should check... so lazy . thats why with all i have in my car, i think i could get 10k for it.

EDIT: I checked it out: this is for my 2001 civic ex coupe, 5spd w/standard options and 65k miles.

Vehicle Highlights

Mileage: 64,000
Engine: 4-Cyl. 1.7L VTEC
Transmission: 5 Speed Manual
Drivetrain: FWD

Standard
Air Conditioning Tilt Wheel Dual Front Air Bags
Power Steering Cruise Control ABS (4-Wheel)
Power Windows AM/FM Stereo Moon Roof
Power Door Locks Single Compact Disc

Excellent $10,015
Good $9,345
Fair $8,460

so i think 10k is a great deal for anyone buying my car (if i decide to sell it). if they are into the scene and what i've done with my car, it's a steal. i know it doesnt increase value of my car at all, but i'm sure i can get 10k for it, considering what i have invested.

anyways, for OP, i would expect a 2003 ex to be like 12k or so .

Yes, but only a little bit more. Why are you thinking of selling?

The value of a car never goes up with that little amount of upgrades.

It's at least tastefully upgraded but no matter what the upgrades are going to make it worth less unless you sell it to a fellow enthusiast in which case you might break even at book value. At a dealer expect to be offered roughly the book value less half the cost of the upgrades.

If you still have the parts to return to stock, then return it to stock. It might not raise the value any but it will make a lot more people more willing to look at your car. I personally won't buy a modified car from anyone I don't personally know. Alas it's getting hard to find good unmolested cars to build from.
