As of like 1/2 a year ago, I'm pretty sure that Skunk2 didn't make an OBD-2.2 conversion, in '98 they changed to 2.2, but (skunk2) may have released one since then.
The wiring harness (if availible) will allow you to use all your OBD-2.2 components with an OBD-I computer.

cant chip obd2 ecu's. you need to use obd1.
upon re reading yes you can get a chipped ecu but usually you buy the ecu then get it chipped later. you can find sohc ecu's (p28) chipped for dohc with the mugen program alot for sale....

A few months ago I helped drop a 96 B18C1 engine into a 94 GS-R (car was being sold, the 94 engine was built and being put into another car). Anyway, all the ECU and wiring and everything was obviously OBD1. The only thing we had to do was use the 94 distributor and the 94 fuel injectors (different plugs on the harness). So if you get an OBD1 ECU and harness I would guess you would also need an OBD1 distributor and injectors.
