Build car or bike.
So Ive had my dc5 for about 2 months now and my plan was to save up all winter and in the spring time dump it all into the car, but in the back of my mind I want to get a bike. Probably like a cbr 600rr or something along that size. My plan for the car was i/h/e, cams, kpro, nitrous and some decent tires, but why waste all that money when I have a reliable and quick car and can get all the speed I want out of a bike. Im confused and dont know what to do. What would you guys do? build or bike.
Id go car. Although I haven't driven a bike, I want one but just don't have the cash. Why not save and save and save, and then make your car as fast as a bike. Thats what im shootin for in a couple years.
Slowly work your way up. Grab the latest issue of Import Tuner and check out the RSX in that. Its making like 620 whp and like 500lbs tq
. The cars sick.
Thats my thoughts.

Yea the thing is I need to daily drive the car. Thats why im sorta lost. I want a fast car but not so obnoxiously loud that I cant go to the store in it. And for the weather. Nice and hot in the summer and cold as **** in the winter. haha dosnt rain to much so bike would be practical with a car for the snowy/rainy days.
It doesn't need to be loud to have power. Well inless a Blow off valve annoys you. Personaly it gets me excited so i boost more, go faster, and get a speeding ticket.
But i dunno what about for a bike a GSX-R 600 or 750. But seriously go car, you won't regret it. you can DD a 500whp RSX.

Ok even if I did DD it, the money I just dumped into the car to make that much whp, I could have paid my car off and gottn a bike. Also I said the size of a cbr. My options for a bike would be cbr, gsxr, r6, or kawasaki zx-6r.

There's not really a point to dumping a bunch of money into a car for speed when you can have two vehicles that you don't have to modify and get your speed fix out with. Plus, a modded car really has very little resale value, but an unmodified car does, and so does a bike.
This seems like a GDD thread, btw.

Be ready to die on a bike. Drivers are idiots. One of my coworkers sometimes rides to work, and every week he has another story of a close call that could've fucked him up.
I'll put it this way -- I'd own a bike myself if they weren't so damned dangerous.
You can make the car plenty fast without being loud, too.

i've had bikes all my life and i've been around cars that beat bikes all my life. my civic now hand's pretty much any bike i come up to on the highway it's a$$ and it's funny to look in your rear view mirror and see a guy crouched down tucking on a tricked gixxer 1k trying to keep up with a guy in a car.
but ther's also definately nothing like being able to hop on a bike and take off, but it is definately dangerous.
don't just go out and buy a bike. make sure your know what your getting into. and to be honest the cbr600rr isn't that great of a bike. if your looking into your first bike then check out the kawi 636 ninja. definately a good bike out the box. it's just a 600 and it'll wax most gixxer 750's.
