Harness - 1994 Si hatch sohc

Plugs that dont match - Alternator and Distributor

The sohc harness has two plugs for the distributor and the dohc distributor only has one but the harness has the same number of wires.

I just need to know which wires go where.

 

match color to color . only diference is you have to connet the blue wire with green stripe from the obd-1 harness to the baby blue wire on the dizzy. thats it.

 

I would have done that if the colors matched up. I got a diagram for the alternator hopfully that works , for the dizzy these are the wires avail

This is how they are , so for example : orange is in the same pin location on the obd1 plug as the white pin is on the obd2 plug

BLU WITH ORANGE - TOURQOISE LOOKING COLOR
BLU GREEN - BABY BLU
WHT GREEN - WHITE GREEN
WHITE - BLACK
WHT BLUE - RED
BLU YELLOW - WHITE

The other little plug is obviously the other two wires. The other wires are the problem.

 

One thing that i do notice is that both plugs have the same empty pin slot.

OBD2 PLUG [ 1A ] - [ 2A ]
[1] [2] [3] [4]
[5] [6] [7] [8]

Wire colors - 1A : LARGE black yellow
2A : Little blue
1 : BLACK
2 : RED
3 : WHITE
4 : ++ EMPTY
5 : WHITE YELLOW MAYBE CANT TELL
6 : BLUE GREEN
7 : BABY BLUE I ASSUME
8 : WHITE GREEN

And for a minute i thought people only knew how to install mud flaps on this forum.

I wonder why the guy about and like three other people said just match the colors they are the same...
