So i got my oil changed at acura about 2 months ago, about 3 weeks after i got it done i was flooring it and right around the point when vtec is supposed to engage i felt powerloss then vtec engaged and powerloss right afterwords following a CEL. well i turned it off and restarted it, did it again and all was fine, i figured it would that acura was a quart short of acceptable levels when they filled my car. took it back to get it fixed, well they put regular oil in it when im using synthetic, which was stupid because they should have asked me, anyways just today i encountered the same problem... oil was still low and wtf they cant put the right amount of oil in my engine i think im going to acura and bitching tomarrow... tell me if u guys ever expirenced this

 

i have expeirenced the vtec lag but never from oil. i never let acura change my oil it takes 10 minutes to do it urself.

 

yea i no i ussually do it myself to but every so often ill let acura do it just incase something goes wrong they cant say the warrentee is void because they have no records

 

good point, but my car has soo much stuff done that 3 weeks after i had it the warrenty was void
