can u put a b16 4.4 final drive in gsr tranny? i got a quife in my b16 tranny and i guess its different then a gsr cuz i org thought i had a gsr tranny so i bought a gsr quife lsd and it didnt fit. i want to go gsr tranny but dont wanna buy another quaife cuz at almost 900 a pop they arent cheap

I would have helped you. I could not discern if you had an LSD for a B16 or B18 from the original run-on. Heck, I still do not know for sure.

If I interpret this correctly, you have a Quaife LSD for a GSR and want to put a 4.40:1 FD in the GSR transmission. The GSR already has a 4.40:1 FD, so where is the problem?

GSR tranny already has 4.4 FD. You're good to go. Just shim the differential properly.

 

if you're asking about the ring gear, you can just drop your quaife with the b16 ring gear into the gsr tranny and shim it then you're good to go
