Stupid question, but i guess you'll have that. Where is the EVAP Control Canister on a 1998 4-cylinder 2 door accord.....my check engine light is detecting a leak...and I was just curious where it was??

Should Be under the Car somewhere, Near the Gas Tank Probably

The EVAP Control System prevents the vapor of gasoline in the fuel system from gettin into the atmos phere

Most of the time when its a evap control leak or what not...

I think P0400 or P0440 something like that it can be a bad seal on the gas cap.

It's a P1457, what exactly can this type of trouble code effect on my car? Bad gas mileage?

Do you guys recommend taking it to a dealer or just seeing if all of those hoses are on properly?
