Default D2 racing

Does anyone know how to measure the height for the D2 racing coilovers. I have just bought one but no detailed info about how to install it. I want it to drop my car about 45mm, is that ok?

Yeah, put them on with a guestimation for the spring perches, setting both sides even. If the car isn't where you want it, adjust both sides equally until it is. Repeat for the rear. Then reset all your bushings. Then go get the car aligned.

Also, when setting the height, be sure to roll the car and forth a few times after comming off the jackstands. If you just set it down, you might not get the suspension fully compressed to ride height.

45mm lower than stock? Sounds like a very mild drop. Should make a good daily driver height. I'm 6" from the ground to the front side jackpoints in my DC2, which leaves about a "2 finger gap" in the front, and would prefer it lower for autocross but can't image daily driving any lower in LA.
