Default ITR Muffler..

Well i am pretty close to getting a 98 type r but i had a few things i dont like done to the car.. It has a greddy exhaust that i have never seen before. it looks alot like an apexi n1 and even slanted like one.. But honestly the thing is a bit too loud for me. I already have a spoon n1 ready to put on it but wasnt sure if that would quiet it down enough or not.. So my question is how much power am i going to loose if i just want to put on the stock itr axleback, keeping the greddy piping and no cat.. the motor is fully built and i would honestly guess is putting down around 200-215whp. If its just going to make me loose a small amount of power i am fine with that but if its going to be a very noticeable number then maybe i will just use the spoon n1.. So if anyone can add some input on how restrictive the itr muffler is VS. the spoon n1.. I have ran the itr muffler on apexi piping and no cat and realy like the tone to it so if its not going to kill my performance then i would realy like to go back to the itr muffler with this car..

The Spoon will get really loud above 3,500 RPM without a cat and 2.5" piping. Trust me

It sounds so much better and deeper than a Apex'i N1. Apex'i sounds like isht w/o a cat, IMO.

there have been dyno sheets posted on hear before where people didnt start to loose power or whould make more with another muffler untill about 190-195 whp

but if your motor is pushing 200-215, then id suggest a nice 2.5'' header, with a nice 2.5'' cat, then to like a t1r exhaust, there 2.5'' also and arent super loud

greddy exhausts suck hard, they rust out really fast, and the piping is only 60mm

well i should have the car tomarrow if everything goes right.. so maybe i will have the spoon n1 on this weekend and see if i can handle it or not.. if i cant then its tims to save for a hytech twin loop.. but until then ill just deal with the stock itr one..

any luck someone has those dyno sheets?
