OK, so I didn't follow your question (re: ADM Type r = JDM?) So I'll just do all.

So, basically thats the lot - I'll add morte when I find more.

In comparison

JDM vs OZ DM

11.5:1 vs 11:1 compression
Different exhaust / cams / ECU
20hp / 13NM.
Brembos vs Honda Items
Suspension Differences (harder)
17" Wheels
1190 vs 1140kgs

OZ vs Type S

1140 vs 1257kgs
Titanium springs vs steel springs
LSD vs None
Recaros vs None
Body Kit vs None
None vs cruise control / sun roof etc...
both 200hp 11.0:1 compression / 193NM.
Brake Ducts vs None

Funny thing is, when you look at the proces of all the cars, when you convert the type s's price to NZ$ its roughly NZ$12000 more. We (in NZ) pay 12k less, and get the recaros, kit, lsd, gearing, titanium springs.... fopr 12k less!! EH!!! And it weighs less!

Well, hope this has helped!

Btw I can see why the american spec dc5 loses alot of its appeal especially when compared to dc2r models.

Yeah esp. with the added pork :/

But all in all the rsx aint a bad car, it just needs a diet and some light weight goodies!

The AU weight is 1160kg vs 1180kg (AC) for the Japanese spec. Naturally, we also don't have the same tach face due to the lower redline. I think it also has low beam HID lights as an option. I could be misreading the altavista translation, though.

Has anyone had a look at the front control arm to see whether or not it's a forged aluminium piece like in Japan?
