Check engine light slowing car down.
its a gsr with 65mm TB headers. when i step on it, and start taking it to high RPMs the check engine light turns on and it starts slowing me down. why??

I think just maybe, your engine has a problem.Check engine=CHECK THE ENGINE instead of just wondering why.Check your oil for starters. Your cars in limp mode buddy.Get that **** checked out before you ruin a good motor.

To the OP, first thing pull the code, dont just reset the ecu, pull the code and post that.
