yesterday my ep acted kinda funny! heres the story:::

*filled up with gas
*finished pumping
*began to leave
*first gear......
*second gear (<U>already on main street</U>)
*middle of 2nd gear car bogs and throws cel, and remains on
*pull over to the side and shut off car
*start car, CEL still on
*go home and unplug battery to reset ecu

***CEL GONE!***

wtf? strange! any input or similar stories from ep or dc5 owners???

sometimes computers get screwy. a good reset is what htey need. seems like the case here.

 

how many miles have you drivin it since you reset the ecu

 

i've seen this before , it happend to me , it was a misfire code on one of the cylinder's ( can't remember wich one ) now was you're tank almost empty when you pump gas ( was the gas light on??) ??? .

actually the tank was half full. no gas light or anything.

all together about 40 miles, and runs totally normal, no cel.
