Default cbr electric problems.......

whats up fellas...i got a question for someone who knows cbr electrical problems.
i have a 95 cbr 900rr. it keeps killing the battery, even if your riding.I replaced the stator a few weeks ago and also bought a new battery two weeks ago, cause i was thinking tha maybe my old one had a dead cell(but it was bought new in march) When i plugged in the new stator i noticed my wiring had gotten hot ,so i rewired the plug. Connected all wiring to where it plugged in and color coded all of it. I have charged the new batt on slow amp and i can ride for a few hrs then it won't start. Anyone have any ideas? Oh yeah i have also checked the fuses and they are all fine.

Most R/R's do not last longer than 4 years, especially on the Honda CBRs and VFRs (and VTRs). Since your bike is a '95, I would assume it had to be replaced at least once. It could very likely be the problem.

I'm about to do this ****. My bike is bogging just like before in April/May right before I got a new battery. Should have changed it back then. I think I'm going to pick up an R1 r/r though.
