Road America 500 - LeMans, World Challenge... July 4-7 Any interest?
Just curious to see if anyone is interested in meeting up for this race. Some of us locals are getting a campsite, and some of us live about 30min from the track. If you want to make the trip from out of town we'll find a place for you to sleep/shower.

I'll be up all day on Saturday roaming around, taking pics, and doing the Touring session at around noon. Maybe Josh (itrsport.com) and Dave (mltdown) might be up for coming up too.

I will be there also. I have a group camp site from July 4- July 7 that can hold 20+ people. The site is only 10min away from the track. If anyone would like to camp drop me an email. madtownsi@charter.net

The Panoz cars are there so Audi has something to pass Actually the V8 Panoz cars from last year did pretty good, that engine has some nice torque to get the car out of the corners.

The Panoz cars are there so Audi has something to pass Actually the V8 Panoz cars from last year did pretty good, that engine has some nice torque to get the car out of the corners.

500 miles. thats it? They should have made it 10 hrs/1000km like Petit Le Mans and bump some of the smaller events.

smaller events like what - World Challenge? at all the ALMS races I have been to, the smaller events often end up being more exciting than the main LeMans race.

But the fact remains that the majority of people are there to see the Le Mans racing.
