Drag wheel back space?
I can't find an answer, and I have done a search.
I'm buying a set of 15x8" weld rims and plans for a 26x10" slick. I know a stock Honda backspace is 5" backspace. I'm needing to know if I should stay with the 5" backspace or go to a 4" backspace for more clearance.
89civic application with a typical cut for a one piece front end.
side question: do you think 26x10x15 inch slicks are too much for a 700hp range or should I go with 24's. (90LS tranny)
Thanks!

cant answer your backspace question, but you should definitely run 26x10...
if you are making that kind of power, and can fit them there is no reason to run 24.5.
(side note, Im selling some 15" bogarts w/MH 26x10x15)

Thanks for the info guys! Sorry ykracing I already ordered the rims from weld I just had time to change the backspacing. So I went with a 4" backspace and by the sounds of it I'll need the 26" slicks. Thats if I make the hp.
