Phantom Motorsport catch pan and Diest blankets for NHRA Pomona
This is kind of off topic, but i just wanted to let people know this with the NHRA world finals coming up in Pomona.
If you need a catch pan for Pomona and your in So Cal. we have a couple extra's at our shop. I would hate to see someone get turned away because they dont have one...
PM me or Wil at Exospeed (ExospeedAMcrx) for more info...
See you all in Pomona, I cant wait!!!
Edit: we also have a couple Diest Transmission blankets if you need them... Pics will be posted asap...

Yes, please have one. Don't want it to be like Vegas with all the oil downs.
Also, run water in your engine and not coolant!!
One more thing I noticed in Vegas, for some reason people (some peope not all) had never seen or ever heard of the NHRA rule book. Here is the link for the class regulations: http://www.nhrasportcompact.co...s.pdf
And here is the General regulations:
http://www.nhrasportcompact.co...s.pdf
READ IT!! and lets PLEASE not hold up the tech line like it was in Vegas! Be 100% ready!

If something happens and the coolant comes out of the car on to the track, its harder than oil to clean up and leaves a slippery residue on the track surface. This causes un safe conditions for yourself and other racers.

These pans are actually made by Jasen Penman. We bought a few sets from him a few months ago. These are our extras. We werent really selling them and advertising them, but since the NHRA race was near us, didnt want to hold out on a good thing.
I'll have to ask if Jasen is still making more. We only have 2 left so if anyone needs one that doesnt have one let us know. We wouldnt want you to miss this race.

It has to be burned off the track, which takes alot of time, something pomona does not have!! </TD></TR></TABLE>
Nor does any track for that matter!

engine diadpers work the same as the catch pan right? Or does it have to go under the tranny, too?
For hotrod it must go under the tranny and engine if oem bell housing is used. According to the rules it must go under the tranny and engine.
If you running an aftermarket tranny (xtrac) I dont think you need one for the tranny. But an engine diaper or catch pan is mandatory.
