Default running a 22mm rear sway bar.

Does the CRX need chassis reinforcement to run this big of a bar? I know the EK's do especially.

the bar doesnt attach to the subframe in the way the newer models do(dc,eg,ek), they have separate brackets that are bretty beefy and attach to the tow hook spots(ST bar anyway) so I would think if they are strong enough for your car to be pulled from I dont think they will tear out

I have been driving and autocrossing my ST for 4 years now with no concern. As stated above it attaches at the tow hook locations. The old tow hooks bolt in on top of the sway bar brackets.

the difference as stated by others about the EF chassis is that the swaybar is not mounted on the subframe.

not saying its not ever possible, but it would be different and not a worry for you.

progress bars do bolt to the subframe, unlike the oe-style bars.

i dd/autox'ed their 22mm for about 7 years and never had a problem.
