Default Ported and polished SOHC VTEC

A friend of mine got a SOHC VTEC head and had it ported and polished this week. We were wondering if a B16 ecu could be used with it or do we have to use an SOHC VTEC ecu. If you have one for sale or know someone that is selling one, please let me know. He plans on putting the vtec head on his Si tranny to see how that works out. Thanks.

To use the sohc VTEC ecu in a EF you need to rewire it or get a conversion harness. The P28 is not plug and play. Check thepartstrader.com for the ecu

yeah u could wire the vtec to a switch and turn it on when ever u like thats what my friend did cuz his vtec controller broke
the best thing to do would be to get a obd1 or 2 distributor and convert your car to obd1 or 2 preferebly 1 and get a p28 would be the best and it will run the best like that good luck
