Help me With Check Valves
Sounds like you're wanting it to work just like the factory-designed system, only with a catch can. I think you'll need 2 catch cans, one in each of the factory lines of the PCV system.
Stock PCV valve & line to intake manifold. You'd put one catch can in this line, since it's always flowing towards the IM. The stock PCV valve already acts as the check valve.
Another catch can in the breather line from intake to VC. Only this one should be set up to tolerate flow reversal. Most times this line flows from intake to crankcase. But at WOT, the flow reverses & it flows towards the intake. This line can't have a check valve because it must tolerate flow reversal.
