Default Cluster changing question for an eg

Quick question, I bought a ex cluster that i am going to install. I did a cluster install into my other hatch just cant figure out what i did to get one part off.

The plastic cover that would normally be used for the clock on the plastic shrouding over the cluster and dash. How in the hell do you get that thing off? I have been prying and it feels like it wants to break. Any ideas?

If you remove the hazard button first, there's another screw behind it that you have to remove. Assuming you took off the two screws above the cluster, the wholle black plastic part with come out. Then you can remove the screws holding in the plate that covers the clock area.
