I wanted to get out to GT Live but if I did, I wouldn't be able to make the Summit Point this weekend because of work load.

We don't seem to get the Opak people on the east coast very often, and this was a good opportunity to see them.

They're not putting down 300. You can make a reasonable estimate of the output by comparing their lap times to H1 cars with known published dynos.

Well...I have the slight advantage of knowing what one of the cars puts down, and it's nowhere near 300.

DC5's are using Showa dampers w/ custom rate Swift springs.

Well, they have about 3-4 different DC5R race cars. I know one of them was running K-Pro. I was told by a rep at Opak several months ago that it was in the neighborhood of 250-270. Keep in mind that is NOT whp. Still fast cars, nonetheless.

The Opak cars are using a suspension that you could buy for yourself if you wanted.

Don't look under a Realtime DC5, though. You wouldn't recognise it at all.

They've tried to solve a myriad of handling issues by radically altering the suspension, including changing the pickup points. You really wouldn't recognise it as the same suspension that's on your daily driver.
