Default Wheel weights... what is the norm?

Alright, well I have always wanted 15 inch white wheels for my red 88 crx si, I am dead set on the decision and have been looking for a 6 spoke styled wheel. Well tonight I saw what I want exactly at a price that suits me, and figured they would be super heavy or complete shat. Well they would be the Buddy Club P1 Racing SF wheels in the 15x6.5 size. they are listed as 13.8 lbs and 112 bucks each. I am loving the looks and the price. is that a suitable wieght for the price and has anyone busted these with minor curb hits or anything that would really deter me from these things? I SEARCHED too, i might be bad at it, but i certainly did. Let me know if the weight sounds good or not. thanks HT

buddy club is a big name, they make quality stuff and i wouldnt worry the least bit about it. seriously, if thoes are the rims you want go out and get them and dont worry for a second about the quality.

also, the weight is very light for rims, probably one of the lightest rims you can get in 15"
there may be lighter rims but a few pounds you wont miss. its not gonna make a difference.

a heavy rim would be 20+lbs, thoes are light as hell

as far as wheel weights, one of the lightest 15 inch i have ever seen is the SW388 spoons, they weigh 3.8kg which is:

8.37756596 pounds

but they also cost $375 each before tires and they don't come in white.

13 is a fine weight, and if you like that style, you might also want to check out the rota attacks, although only a 5 spoke it kind of has that type-r look to it.

personally i would reccomend against white rims on a red car since the police will give you too much attention with heavy contrast between the wheel and the car.

but you didnt ask for my opinion, you were just curious about weight.

those rota attacks in 15" weigh 12 lbs and it comes in 4x100 and http://www.jaydm.com lists them for $445.00 a set.

shot of them:

anyway, if you like the buddys then do it, but they arent the only ones making inexpensive white rims.
